Our mission is to honor Korean War Veterans who served in the land, in the sea and in the air from 1945-1960, and instill patriotism in the Hearts of America's Future Leaders. KC Bertling, a native Korean, sharing a hot meal with Korean War Veterans was her childhood ambition. Finally in 2006, KC and her husband Sam with support from a local restaurant owner had the opportunity to host the first luncheon. The luncheon program continued to grow as they hosted each year along with a guest speaker. Historically the Legacy 4 Korean War Veterans Foundation came to life as 501 (c)(3) in January 2011. L4KWVF team members are all volunteers and they believe all things come from God, and God alone is the provider of all resources through faithful and generous people.
